Maitreyi K, 
(pronounced My-threy-ee), is the ever evolving author of Parinaama and a rambunctiously infectious bundle of joy and kindness. This blog has been and is an outlet for all her philosophical, esoteric, creative, hilarious and real life reflections and insights, which you'll enjoy reading.

What started off as a journal of her deep thoughts on everything she observed around her is now a medium for us to spread hope, wisdom, faith and laughter. Her spontaneity keeps us in awe while her sharp wit, keen observations and precariously positioned hair bun keeps us on our toes in the best way possible :)

Subrahmanyam B R, 
(pronounced Sub-ra-mun-yam), is the amazing editor of Parinaama and is a long-lost-and-recently-discovered soul-sibling of the author. He is a constant cheerleader, compassionate motivator, non-judgmental listener, sharp-witted talker and happiness provider not only to us but also to all the people he meets.

He has been our editor since September 2020 and man do we love him and his amazing proofreading skills, timely observations, gentle corrections as well as hilarious sense of humor!

A Birthday Post to Me (Why not? :P)

Today marks the beginning of the 20th year of my earthly existence, although I feel like a 10 year old kid with 10 years of work experience with life.  I generally wouldn't really like celebrating my birthday (which would usually consist of wishes from my loved ones, a new dress gifted by my parents and a surprise cake from my sister). I felt I had to achieve something worthy enough to call for a "celebration", so to speak. But this year though, is so radically different. Obviously, the year 2020 or infamously known as The Year That Must Not Be Named (Voldemort reference), has turned all birthdays from the month of March into "Quarantine Birthdays", because literally, the birthday humans were either in self isolation or in lock down. Yet for me, this is such a beautiful birthday that I take pride in celebrating. This day is definitely a cornerstone and a turning point in my life. 21* - Big Innings

Level 21 in Lockdown Hello my lovely readers! I took a pleasant break from blogging to focus a lot on my inner world and lets just say it was worth every bit of the hiatus.  I feel a lot more fresh, inspired, energized and enlightened and we at Parinaama are going to serve your mind, body and soul with the nuggets of wisdom we know you'll appreciate.  Cricket lovers will understand the title of today's post (I maayyyyy have been a tad bit influenced by my effervescent cricket mad editor) and for me personally, the number 21 is quite significant. 2+1 adds up to 3 (my absolute favourite number) 21 is the day of the month I was born 20 overs are all there is in T20 cricket BUT its the 21st over (the super over) that becomes the turning point of a nail biting match that ended in a tie.
